...Well actually, we are all busy at school but we're not really going too far a field. I've been working full time since getting home, and even this week, on normal supply, I've worked every day, except tuesday afternoon! Oh, well, at this rate we will easily be able to afford a return visit to Aus. in the next few years!
On our return we didn't have long to sort out Alex's birthday: We didn't have a clue what to buy him, but luckily Southampton's West Quay had a demonstration of the new Nintendo Wii, and the local Game store had just had a delivery!! I raced down to the store and got one of the final 5 left. I must confess that Jessica and Alex actually bought the new game system jointly,(they have far more money in their account than we do!) but it was great for gift ideas of accessories and games!
Anyway, his party was held at Laser Quest, pretty much the same party as he had last year....and he loved it.....Again!
His favourite card was a tasteful one from his sister, all about the different types of 'poo' you can get.....fascinating!
Our Sunday dinner invite to Sam and Simon's new house in Romsey was one of the furthest places we had travelled since our return.....we had a delightful walk in the grounds of the Broadlands Estate.....the kids enjoyed splashing in the puddles and getting stuck in thick mud, while we enjoyed watching the deer and throwing sticks for their dog, Missy.
